Overview
Dashlyft connects to your store, ad accounts, and payment tools so it can analyse your numbers and act on your behalf. That access comes with a straightforward commitment: your data is used only to serve you, never to benefit anyone else.
This page answers the most common security questions we hear from brands evaluating Dashlyft.
Will you use my data for training?
No. Dashlyft does not use your business data to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine-learning model — ours or anyone else's. Your data is processed solely to deliver analytics and insights to you.
This is also stated in Section 6.4 of our Terms of Service.
Is my data shared with any other software providers?
No. Your business data is never sold, rented, licensed, or otherwise shared with third-party companies for their own purposes.
When Dashlyft processes a query, the data sent to our AI infrastructure is used exclusively to generate your answer and is not retained by downstream providers for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how personal information is handled.
Can other customers access my data?
No. Every Dashlyft account is logically isolated. Your data, queries, and results are scoped to your account and are never visible to, or accessible by, any other customer.
How secure is my data?
We apply industry-standard protections at every layer:
- Encryption in transit — all connections use TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Encryption at rest — stored data is encrypted using AES-256.
- Access controls — internal access to production systems follows least-privilege principles and requires multi-factor authentication.
- Infrastructure — Dashlyft runs on AWS with network isolation, automated patching, and continuous monitoring.
Who owns the data?
You do. You retain full ownership of all data you upload to or connect with Dashlyft — files, spreadsheets, databases, and data accessed through third-party integrations. Dashlyft does not claim any ownership rights over your data.
We hold a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data only for the purpose of providing the service to you. That licence ends when you delete your data or close your account.
Do you access my data?
Dashlyft's systems access your connected data automatically to answer your questions and run the automations you configure. Human access is limited to:
- Support — only when you explicitly ask us to investigate an issue, and only to the extent needed to resolve it.
- Infrastructure maintenance — engineers may access production systems to maintain uptime and fix bugs, subject to strict access controls and audit logging.
We do not browse, analyse, or review your business data for any purpose other than delivering the service you signed up for.
Deletion & portability
You can disconnect any integration or delete uploaded datasets at any time. Upon account termination, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
